Waste Reduction Week (WRW) is an annual initiative designed to encourage Canadians to reduce waste and conserve resources for future generations.
As a national sponsor of Waste Reduction Week, we're committed to helping Canadians take a positive step toward reducing waste and by lending our company name and support to an event like this, we're sending the message that reducing waste is important.

Throughout the week, WM is supporting a wide array of educational and fun activities with communities, businesses and environmental organizations across Canada. This year WM has sponsored in partnership with the Freecycle Network the Freecycle Challenge that encourages Canadians to use this innovative network to reduce their waste. WM has also supported the development of business and educational tool kits which are made available through the WRW website.
