Dan Pio
President
Dan Pio has been President of Waste Management of Canada since
2001. He has held several executive leadership positions within
Waste Management and is also an Officer of Waste Management, Inc.
Previously, Dan was Manager of Financial Operations for Laidlaw
Waste Systems, Ltd. He has been in the waste management industry
for nearly 13 years.
Don Wright
Vice President - Canadian Area General Counsel
Don Wright is responsible for the legal affairs of Waste Management
of Canada. Wright joined Waste Management in 2000 from Torys,
a Toronto law firm. Prior to which, he was an Associate at Blake,
Cassels & Graydon, another Toronto law firm.
John Horan
Vice President - Financial Control and Analysis
John Horan brings an extensive experience in financial control
and analysis to Waste Management of Canada. During his tenure
with the company, he has held several financial leadership positions
within the company as well as Laidlaw Waste Systems prior to its
acquisition by Waste Management in 1997. He has been in the waste
management industry for nearly 13 years.
Kevin Cinq-Mars
Vice President - Sales and Marketing
Kevin Cinq-Mars is responsible for all sales and marketing initiatives
in Canada. Prior to joining Waste Management of Canada, Cinq-Mars
held several senior sales and general management positions with
Laidlaw Waste Systems. Previously Cinq-Mars owned and operated
a confidential shredding and recycling business in Toronto and
Southwest Ontario. He has been in the waste management industry
for nearly 13 years.
Paul Keane
Vice President - Human Resources
Paul Keane is responsible for Human Resources in Canada. He joined
the company in 2001 and brings to Waste Management extensive senior
level human resources management experience from the retail, pharmaceutical
and specialty chemical industries.
Cal Bricker
Vice President - Public Affairs
Cal Bricker is responsible for all aspects of government, communications,
regulatory affairs and environmental compliance for Waste Management
of Canada. Prior to joining the company in 2003, he held senior
executive positions with one of Canada's largest brewers and served
as policy analyst with several Ontario government ministries.
Denis Goulet
Vice President- Market Planning and Business Development
Denis Goulet is responsible for all market planning and business development initiatives for Waste Management of Canada. During his tenure with WM Denis has held several leadership positions within the company as well as with Laidlaw Waste Systems Inc. prior to its acquisition by Waste Management. Denis has been working in the waste management industry for 13years.
